Have the student choose the most appropriate bill denomination ($1, $5, $10, or $20) to buy the pictured item.
The number line and slider are provided to help the student determine the correct answer. Ask him or her to drag the slider upwards along the number line, first to the items value, and then to the next smallest bill denomination. When the sliders position matches the correct answer, all of the incorrect answer buttons are temporarily disabled. Using the number line and slider, the student observes the relationship between the items value and the most appropriate bill denomination.
